Six Mile Run - Jacques Lane · 26 Jacques Lane Somerset, NJ 08873

Register your family for this ride. Your result will show whether your family has confirmed places or is on the waitlist.

Our Try-It Ride gives prospective riders in grades 5–12 a chance to meet our athletes and coaches, learn some basic mountain bike skills, hit the trails, and experience what being a Veloraptor is all about.

Beginners are welcome, racing is not required, and everyone rides. Parents interested in coaching are encouraged to come learn more too!

Register for this ride

You can save your registration before completing the NICA waiver. Then use your secure management link to attest for each rider before check-in. You do not need to email or upload the signed form.

The first person is the primary contact. Add another adult to receive updates or to try coaching as a prospective new adult coach. Non-riding parents are welcome to observe.

Equipment they will bring
Huckwagon request (youth only)

The Huckwagon brings youth bikes in a range of sizes and helmets to try for the day. If your child does not have a bike, they can still come to a Huckwagon-equipped Try-It event to give a bike a go and get help finding the right size. If they have a bike, please bring it so coaches can check its safety and fit. We cannot guarantee a bike in their size for the entire ride; bikes may need to be shared for short trials and sizing. Request bike or helmet help when registering so coaches can plan ahead. Equipment is for youth only and for that day only—not a take-home or season-long loan. Prospective adult coaches must bring their own bike, helmet and all other gear.

NJ NICA permits this guest waiver for one ride only, even if the national form mentions three uses.

Finish registration

The website records your waiver attestation, not the signed waiver document. Registration details are stored in the team database and projected to a private Google Sheet for authorized ride operations.

This form uses anti-spam protection so real families and partners can reach the team without junk submissions.

Before anyone rides

Every youth rider or prospective adult coach must complete the applicable NICA waiver and attest to it here before check-in. NJ allows the guest waiver for one ride. Non-riding parents may observe; they do not count toward riding capacity and do not need riding equipment.

Before riding, every rider needs a suitable bike and helmet, gloves, eye protection, closed-toe shoes and water. At Huckwagon events, coaches review youth bike/helmet requests and arrange safe trials; arriving without a bike is welcome, but does not guarantee a loaner for the entire ride.
