Support the Program

Help More Young Riders Grow with Veloraptors

Veloraptors is a nonprofit youth mountain biking team serving riders in grades 5-12 across Somerset Hills and surrounding New Jersey communities. Support from families, donors, and local businesses helps keep the program strong, welcoming, and sustainable.

We ride within the NJ NICA league and the broader NICA model of youth development. If you are new to the league, read What is NICA? and see how programs like GRiT help more riders feel included and supported.

Donations are processed securely via Zeffy and may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Impact

What support makes possible

Donations help reinforce the parts of the program that parents and riders care about most: access, safety, consistency, and a stronger experience across the season.

Rider access and scholarships

Support helps more families participate, even when the full cost of a season would otherwise be difficult.

Safety and equipment support

Donations help strengthen the practical side of the program, including safety-related needs, team support, and season readiness.

Coach and race-weekend support

A stronger program needs coach development, organization, and race logistics that make the athlete experience feel stable and credible.

Why this matters to families

Youth mountain biking is at its best when the program feels organized, safe, and welcoming. Community support helps make that visible and real, not just aspirational.

Families are more likely to trust the program when they can see strong coaching, responsible operations, and a team culture that is clearly supported by the community around it.
