After a season filled with determination, teamwork, and relentless effort, the Veloraptors are proud to be named the 2024–2025 NJ NICA League Champions. This incredible achievement reflects not just race results, but the heart, grit, and commitment shown by every rider, coach, and family who makes up our team.

Throughout the season, Veloraptors riders pushed themselves to new limits. They showed up to practices ready to work, encouraged their teammates when the trails got tough, and gave their all at every race. From long climbs to fast descents, the team demonstrated the resilience and sportsmanship that define mountain biking.

What makes this championship especially meaningful is how it was earned. Success in the NJ NICA league isn’t just about speed — it’s about participation, perseverance, and teamwork. Every rider contributes to the team’s success by racing, improving, and supporting one another along the way.

Behind the riders is an incredible community. Our dedicated coaches volunteered countless hours helping athletes build skills and confidence on the bike. Parents and families supported the team at practices and races, creating an environment where young riders could thrive. Together, that community spirit helped power the Veloraptors all the way to the top of the podium.

Most importantly, this championship reflects the core values of the NICA program: confidence, resilience, character, and inclusivity. The Veloraptors showed that when a team works hard, supports one another, and believes in the journey, amazing things can happen.
